Costs (excluding flights):
Because we organize this journey together with trusted local partners, the final price depends on the group size. We intentionally keep the group small and personal — ideally around 10–12 participants — so everyone receives personal attention and guidance. Full pricing details can be found in the brochure.
Flights are not included. When booked early, return tickets are usually between €700–900.
Booking Flights:
In general, we recommend flying from Frankfurt directly to Ulaanbaatar with MIAT Mongolian Airlines. Depending on where you live, you can either travel to Frankfurt Airport by car or take a separate flight to Frankfurt first. Of course, other travel routes are possible — this is simply the option we personally use most often when traveling to Mongolia.
Travel Planning:
If you decide to arrive earlier than the official start date of the journey, you are very welcome to do so. Please note that airport pickup is only included on the official start date of the tour. Earlier arrivals are responsible for arranging their own airport transfer and accommodation in Ulaanbaatar. Likewise, if you choose to stay longer after the journey ends, you are completely free to do so. However, transportation or airport services after the official end date are not included.
Participation & Deposit:
To confirm your participation, we ask for a €250 deposit. The remaining payment will be invoiced approximately 4–6 months before departure. Sign up here.
Suitable for:
This journey is suitable for anyone fit enough to travel around Mongolia for 14 days. No musical or cultural experience is required. Local guides and staff assist with transportation of luggage and equipment where needed.
Important! Travel Insurance:
A valid travel insurance is required for participation. Participants book their own flights and are responsible for arranging suitable travel (and optional cancellation) insurance.
About this journey:
We are not a travel agency, but organize small-scale cultural journeys together with trusted Mongolian partners. Transportation, accommodations, and local activities are provided by experienced local professionals. By registering, participants agree to travel at their own responsibility and with proper insurance.
